Automotive silicone hoses are widely used in high-temperature environments such as engine bays, turbo systems, and cooling systems due to their excellent heat resistance, aging resistance, and flexibility. Although silicone itself is a stable material, improper storage can still lead to deformation, aging, discoloration, or reduced performance. 1. Avoid Direct Sunlight
UV rays can damage the molecular structure of silicone, causing the surface to become sticky, yellow, or brittle. Silicone hoses should be stored in a cool, shaded area. 2. Keep the Environment Dry and Well-Ventilated

5. Inspect Regularly
Silicone hoses that are stored for extended periods should be checked regularly for any signs of discoloration, hardening, or stickiness.
